I didn't cry at Wicked: For Good as much as I thought might. There were a few tears and omg, it was such a lovely ending on film. The theatre experience was less than stellar, so even though our favourite theatre is further away, it's about the same amount of time to go to either one. We'll be continuing to go to that one from now on.

We thought that because we were out, maybe we should go to our old haunt, THE mall? No, actually, no thank you. Even just thinking about parking there and walking in, yeck. So we found "an outside" bookstore and had a lovely time wandering around looking at stuff. Then I took M home and went home myself after a detour through the market for coffee cream as I was out.

I finished the sewing on the mantle on Sunday morning, and stitched together a few strips for the trimming. I decided that I DID want to round-scallop the trim so I ordered a pair of scallop shears which ought to be delivered today. The template given was for a double-gathered ruffle, but as soon as I started typing this, thinking about how I wasn't sure how to make (pleats vs gathering) or attach (fully on top of the mantle body or partially off of it) the trim, but I'll just do center-gathered attached at the hem. Done.

Literally laid around the rest of the day. Did all of my reusable containers as my dishes, made soup for dinner, called it a night.

Did NOT sleep though, so I am heckin' tired! We'll see what I get done tonight, but I doubt it will be much.
