Jul. 9th, 2016 03:42 pmLast weekend ended up being a write-off in terms of doing-stuff. I just Could Not, with anything. I managed to get a pot of chili started for the week on Sunday, and then spent the rest of the day sleeping on and off. By the time my chili was done, I couldn't even eat it, because I was so nauseous. It was really awful. Summer cold + PMS migraine, so fun! But now its mostly passed on, so I'm feeling more up to stuff. Thank goodness, it's hard to take care of myself when I'm sick!
Been poking at the changes needed in my apartment over the week, and I'm nearly ready to move the bed. Nicole helped me take out the things I wanted to donate to Value Village, so that was nice :) And, when we went to run an errand at another friend's house, their neighbour's kitten was visiting! So we got to play with a kitten for awhile. So cute!
Animethon is next month, so we've been working on costumes for that. I have 2 pieces done so far, just another hmm... 6 to go. Four of those are individual hand and leg slouchies, easy peasy. Then I thought of another costume or two I wanted to make, so I might get started on those in a little bit.
