Yesterday was indeed stitching time. I got to about 12" of lining sewn so that I can fill it with a stuffing. Plan to use poly fill bc I currently can't be assed to figure something else out (although I do have a down blanket with a hole in it wot might work).
You know that moment when you turn a corner on a project and it's no longer a collection of shapes and stitches and it looks like the thing it's supposed to be? Yeah, I turned the lining over the fur to put the last hem in and the combo of red silk lining with the edge of fur on either side was delightful.
Roomies are out tonight, so still planning photos even though I didn't sleep hardly at all and I am TIRED and GRUMPY. We'll just see if I go full pom' and pow' or make some approximation or what. Also considering doing it on Saturday morning so I can get some nice photos in a historic park.
Speaking of, volunteering at a showing of 1995 P&P this weekend at said park. Planning to bring a project with me, bc I will get very squirmy sitting through that much show, but knitting, or sewing? Or both?
My B&T package has had a nice tour of Illinois, including going to Chicago twice. Brain hat can't be done until then.
