EDMOWRIMOS, CLICK HERE TO LEARN HOW TO USE MIRC!
Welcome to mIRC! (In my case, Sysreset. Long explanation.)

A brand new copy of mIRC will need to be configured. Add a new server (OR check the server list for goodchatting.) Click on Options under the file menu, or press Ctrl+O.

Un-collapse the Connect option:

If you have to add the server, click on Add and enter the server information:

Next, enter your nickname below the server information. I suggest using your Nano forum nickname so we know who you are ;)

Also, select "Connect on Start-up" under "Connect: Options". It will connect automatically any time you turn on mIRC.

After that, let's set it up to auto-join when you sign on. It makes your life so much easier. Under "IRC: Perform", click on the check box, and type in the command to join the room. Now every time you connect, it will automatically join this channel.

Now that you're ready to go, click on the connect button. (OR go to File: Connect)

Great Success! High Five!
